A CFO with 30 years of business experience, Jonathan Chou possesses an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Economics from the University at Buffalo . Early in his career, Jonathan Chou worked in the international banking and financial services industries before he joined the client side then ultimately focused on serving in C-Level executive positions at public companies.
Among his most recent positions, Jonathan Chou served as the CFO from 2010 to 2017 and as CEO of Kulicke & Soffa Industries from 2015 to 2016 at its global headquarters in Singapore. As Interim CEO from 2015 to 2016, his responsibilities ranged from development projects to customer interaction. Among his accomplishments, he drove business performance that consistently surpassed quarterly street consensus estimates, which, in turn, resulted in Kulicke & Soffa Industries' stock nearly reaching its 52-week high in October 2016.
Additionally, he was recently invited to serve as an advisor of the finance committee of the Board of Directors of the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that enables institutional emerging market investors to support good governance, promote sustainable development, and improve investment performance in the governments and companies in which they invest.
Outside of the office, Mr. Chou pursues an active lifestyle. He is an avid golfer and tennis player, and he enjoys traveling with his family.
